Siobhan Kolker is a comedienne and dramatic force as an actress and a singer. She works in film, TV, theater and cabaret and spend the first half of her career in opera. Credits include A Little Night Music and Merrily We Roll Along at the Kennedy Center Sondheim Celebration, Baltimore Opera and Washington Opera. Regional highlights were a Julie (Carousel) in a critically acclaimed version at Toby's Dinner Theatre of MD and comedy improv as a member of D.C.'s musical comedy improv troupe, Now This!. NYC highlights include the York Theatre Company, New York International Fringe Festival, Verse Theatre Manhattan, One World Symphony and numerous staged readings of new musical and plays with Innovative Stages. As a cabaret artist, her shows “Blue Champagne” and “Mother Said: A Momplicated Relationship” have been produced at the Abingdon Theater in NYC, and Germano’s Cabaret in Baltimore.
Siobhan began her career as an opera singer and holds her BMA degree in Voice and History from The University of Michigan and an MM from Peabody Conservatory. Credits include Offenbach'sOrpheus in the Underworld (Venus) and Britten's The Turn of the Screw (Miss Jessel) with Opera Vivente of Baltimore, three seasons of leading and supporting roles with the Ohio Light Opera, several productions at Washington National Opera and ten seasons with Baltimore Opera Company, where she appeared both on the mainstage and in their educational outreach program of touring operas.
Also a teaching artist, Siobhan is currently Adjunct Professor of Voice at Montclair State University in New Jersey and on the voice faculty at AMDA (the American Musical and Dramatic Academy) in New York.
